I was very young once,
Fresh and full of beauty.
Time has ravaged what is left of me.
What is left of me?
Time is the enemy.
My days now they are numbered,
My end will come on shortly.
I served my purpose purely,
Did I know my purpose surely?
Time is the enemy.
More time is all we wish for.
Theres never enough of time.
Its not taken lightly
It is never used tritely.
And yet time is the enemy.
Time continues to ravage
All of what is left of me.
A bitter and heartless savage.
We live just to die, just to die.
Time is the enemy.
