This fella was sitting on a fence behind my home in Menifee, CA, USA and even though I tried to sneak up on him, he knew I was there.
We have a pair of these hawks that hang out in the area, there is a nice smorgasbord of sparrows that live in our fruit trees so this guy is always stopping by for lunch.
My own photograph taken with a Kodak EZS M995. Post processing in PSCS6 using camera raw, levels and overlay textures.
