Come to this beach and plan to stay the entire day. Walking down then up the long wooden stairway with beach gear is a tiring task so – plan to stay a long as possible to enjoy the beauty of the beach and make the long walk worth it.
Watercolor version of my own photograph.
A digital painting from an original photograph taken from Carlsbad State Beach campground of Ponto Beach in late summer 2017. A good friend allows me to stay at his beach house across the street from this beach. Photo taken with an iPhone 6S. Post processed in PSCS6 with DAP layers using Fractalius filter and extreme curves in camera raw.
